Fitch & Leedes

A premium mixer brand

The New Grapefruit Tonic

The new Fitch & Leedes Grapefruit Tonic combines a zesty grapefruit with delicate hints of bitterness. We are told that it is the perfect fusion of fun and finesse, so much so that it is bound to uplift your senses with every sip.

Likely to be a mixer of choice this Spring, we are told that it can be enjoyed while basking in the sun, whether over brunch or sundowners. It is best paired premium gin, vodka or tequila.

What to expect

The Grapefruit Tonic is packaged in style in a glass bottle sealed with a crown cap and embossed with the signature Fitch & Leedes sailing ship.

It is marketed as the ideal accessory for G&Ts and coktails, and ticks the box as a refreshing non-alcoholic alternative too!

What the industry says

“A great addition to the Fitch & Leedes line-up, the new grapefruit tonic is the perfect balance of bitter and sweet and makes for a crisp, refreshing G&T. We love it with our African Botanical Gin, previously known as our Salt River Gin, where it adds a fresh citrus tanginess to balance the fynbos botanicals”.

– Lucy Beard of Hope on Hopkins, the craft distillery in Salt River.

We are told that Beard’s perfect serve is one part Hope on Hopkins African Botanical Gin to four parts Fitch & Leedes Grapefruit Tonic garnished with a slice of grapefruit and a sprig of thyme, or with a few muddled summer berries and mint.

 Overall

We are excited to see what may be added next to Fitch & Leedes’ portfolio of premium mixers. Until then, we will be sure to indulge in their wide-range of goodies, which are good as non-alcoholic alternatives too.
