House of BNG

A luxury beverage brand by Bonang Matheba

About House of BNG

Developed over the course of 2 years by Bonang Matheba and Cape Wine Master, Jeff Grier.

BNG is said to be a unique blend of MCC which Jeff tailored to Bonang’s taste preferences.

The MCC has a resulted in a balance between bitter and sweet flavours, beautifully sized bubbles and grapes sourced from the ever popular Stellenbosch area!

House of BNG, MCC

Bonang Matheba has launched her very own luxury beverage brand, House of BNG, and has kicked things off with a signature Rosé and Brut Méthode Cap Classique.

History, first black woman

Not only has Bonang gone where most South African celebrities have not yet gone (i.e. by being more than the “face” of a beverage), she has also made history as the first black woman to become a member of the Cape Classique Producers Association (which consists of producers who share a passion for fermented sparkling wine and promoting South Africa’s best MCCs).

Major partner, Woolworths

As a major partner, BNG MCC is initially available exclusively at select Woolworths stores as well as Woolworths online (R399.99). It will be released in other retail stores at a later stage.

You can expect the taste of three grape varieties of

Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier and a tad bit of red wine. Overall,
a blush pink coloured MCC  that exudes romance and

Globally known for loving Champagne,  and knowing that South Africa has some of the world’s best grapes, it only makes sense that Bonang decided to make a

Methode Cap Classique!

You can expect a dry taste that delivers all the complexity and flavour

one would expect from a Brut that has bubbles that dance at the top of a flute.

"The House of BNG has been a passion project of mine for a long time. Building something from the ground up has been an experience that I relish."

"The House of BNG embodies timeless elegance and celebration and I’m excited to introduce it to the world."
