Mugg & Bean at the V&A Waterfront.
A restaurant chain I frequent when I want good food in a comfortable setting.
Locations across Africa
What to Expect
With the first Mugg & Bean opening its doors at the picturesque V&A Waterfront in 1996, it is no surprise that the chain is especially loved in the Mother City. From my many encounters with the insides of this cosy restaurant, I can always go back rest assured that the coffee and muffins will be as tasty as always, and that their food menu would have changed ever so slightly to keep up with trends. And if you have ever been to a Mugg & Bean, which you probably have, you can probably agree that their service is consistently good.
The following key words paint a good picture of Mugg & Bean:
Cosy I Efficient I Satisfying
Good to Know
Mugg & Bean introduced their On the Move menu, which caters for busy bees who still wish to enjoy wholesome food. The menu includes anything from takeaway coffee, gourmet sandwiches, croissants and Mugg & Bean’s renowned “Giant Muffins”.
So when I would like to get a quick bite without disappointment, I almost always opt for a nearby Mugg & Bean. I can actually not recall an unpleasant experience, so if you can, or if your Mugg & Bean moments have been pretty much like mine, please share your experiences with us by commenting in the comments section below!
