It excites us greatly to share with you that Seen Vicariously has been granted media accreditation to the South African Cheese Festival, taking place next weekend 28 to 30 April, at the ever so popular Sandringham farm in Stellenbosch.  One of the largest culinary events in South Africa, the event boasts an estimated 30 000 guests annually, with a focus on cheese and wine enthusiasts. Highlights this year include entertainment by crowd favourites, Nataniël and BlackByrd, and an all time first VIP Connoisseur’s Experience. With the general tickets for Saturday already sold out, it is without a doubt that you should get your tickets for the Friday or Sunday without delay. What to Expect

The award winning South African Cheese Festival is set to tantalize your taste buds with a selection of the best and unique cheeses, other dairy products, supreme wine and gourmet food. Complementary products like spicy preserves, fresh fruit, indigenous teas and exotic drinks will also be in abundance, ensuring that there is something to feast on for all.

The entertainment will include outstanding music by local celebrities such as Kurt Darren, performing exclusively on Friday, 28 April 2017, and the famous BlackByrd, performing on Sunday, 30 April 2017. Culinary presentations will also be enjoyed with celebrity chef, Nataniël, and other well known culinary names, Carmen Niehaus and Leon the Milkman. For those culinary enthusiasts who crave a more intimate and sophisticated Cheese Festival experience, the event this year boasts a VIP Connoisseurs Experience, with only 100 VIP tickets being available for each day. The VIP ticket will entitle you to delights such as an exclusive cooking demo with Nataniël, a special mozzarella and feta making demo with Leon the Milkman, a meet & greet opportunity with cheese makers, and a host of complimentary tastings and goodies. With a lot of preparation having gone into yet another highly anticipated South African Cheese Festival, the message is clear: get there and join in on the fun!

Tickets are available at any Computicket outlet, Shoprite or Checkers store at R160 per person per day. Senior citizens pay R100 and children 13 years and younger enter free of charge. Regrettably, no tickets will be sold at the gates. The festival times are from 10:00 to 18:00 daily.
