Sun Met '20 Theme

The Sun Met returns to the Mother City at Kenilworth Racecourse on 1 February 2020.

And the theme? African Luxury: Visionaries.

The Theme

Bringing racing enthusiasts and fashionistas together annually, mark your calendar because the Sun Met is not called Africa’s Richest Race Day for nothing.

Race goers are called upon to feel inspired by their inner most vision, creativity and innovation and arrive ready to transform the elegant race and fashion affair into a harmony of visionary imagination.

Visionaries, a platform & life

We want to pay homage to the visionaries. To introduce a platform where creatives of all kinds can showcase their ideas. To write and share their stories through fashion, music, tech and horse racing. Where imagination comes to life in all aspects.

– Gareth Flusk, Sun International Events & Entertainment Manager

Overall

One of the most talked about equestrian affairs, the Sun Met 2020 will again be headlined by Sun International who, we are told, intends to transform Kenilworth Racecourse into the city’s most visionary stage with an evolution of creativity and style.
